1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing groundworkoregon.com or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use this site or order our documents.

2. Services Provided

GroundWork Oregon provides professionally prepared compliance document templates customized to the ordering customer's specific business. Documents are delivered as DOCX and PDF files following payment and preview approval.

3. Not Legal Advice

GroundWork Oregon is not a law firm. Purchasing or using our documents does not create an attorney-client relationship. Our documents are templates intended as a starting point for your compliance needs. Before implementing any document, you should have it reviewed by a licensed employment attorney familiar with your specific situation and applicable Oregon law.

We make no representations or warranties that documents are complete, current, or suitable for your particular situation without attorney review.

4. Preview and Payment

You will receive a watermarked preview of your customized document before paying. By paying via the provided payment link, you confirm that you have reviewed the preview and approve the document for final delivery.

The watermarked preview is not licensed for use. Using the watermarked preview as if it were a final document is a violation of these Terms and may constitute copyright infringement.

5. License to Use Delivered Documents

Upon payment, you receive a single-entity, non-transferable license to use the delivered documents for the internal business operations of the legal entity identified in your order. This license does NOT permit:

Sharing with other businesses, affiliates, or third parties
Resale, sublicensing, or redistribution in any form
Posting to any website, file-sharing service, or cloud storage for public access
Use of our documents as the basis for competing compliance products or services

This license DOES permit:

Customizing documents for your own company's internal use
Printing copies for your employees and jobsite use
Storing securely in your company's systems
Modifying documents to reflect changes in your business

6. Copyright

All documents are copyright © 2026 GroundWork Oregon. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sublicensing violates federal copyright law and may result in statutory damages up to $150,000 per willful infringement.

Each delivered document contains a unique license ID traceable to your order. Unauthorized distribution will be traced to the original licensee.

7. Revisions and Refunds

Every order includes two rounds of revisions at no additional charge. Additional revisions are available at $150 per round.

Because you pay only after approving a preview, refund requests after final delivery are rare. See our Refund Policy for complete details.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroundWork Oregon and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our documents or services, including but not limited to any legal, regulatory, or operational consequences of implementing our documents.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific document giving rise to the claim.

9. Customer Obligations

You represent that you have authority to order on behalf of the business identified in your intake form, that the business information you provide is accurate, and that you will use delivered documents in accordance with this license.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version applies to all new orders. For existing orders, the Terms in effect at the time of your order apply.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, where GroundWork Oregon's parent company (Pacific Build Compliance) is organized. Any disputes shall be resolved in Multnomah County, Oregon.
