Because GroundWork Oregon uses a preview-before-payment model, refund requests after final delivery are rare. You see a watermarked preview of your actual customized document before paying, and you request revisions if needed. Payment happens only when you approve the preview.
This section details the specific circumstances in which refunds are available.
If you submit an intake form and decide not to proceed before we've started work, no charge applies. Email us at orders@pacificbuildcompliance.com to notify us.
If you've received a preview but decide not to purchase, simply don't complete the payment. The watermarked preview is not usable without payment. No charge applies. No further action required — after 10 days of inactivity, we close out the order.
If the preview doesn't meet your expectations, you have three options:
If within 7 days of final delivery you identify a factual error in the delivered document (incorrect company information, incorrect legal citation, etc.), email us with specifics. We will correct the error at no charge and redeliver.
If the error cannot be resolved through revision, we will provide a full refund and delete our copies of the document, at which point your license to use it terminates.
If within 30 days of final delivery, you (or an attorney reviewing the document) identify that a section of the document substantially misstates or misapplies applicable Oregon law as of the date of delivery, email us with specifics and attorney backup. We will correct the document at no charge or, if the issue cannot be resolved, issue a refund.
Note: normal differences of judgment in drafting, preferences in wording, or subsequent changes in law (occurring after delivery) are not grounds for refund.

We respond to refund requests within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are processed through Stripe within 2 business days of approval. The amount appears back in your account within 5-7 business days depending on your bank.
When a refund is issued, your license to use the delivered document terminates, and you must delete all copies of the document.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We almost always resolve issues directly and quickly. A chargeback results in immediate license termination and may prevent future orders.
